Training DVD
 

An in-depth, up-to-date training DVD is now available.
 

A comprehensive guide covering everything from the drug withdrawal of a newborn through the first years of life. It is designed to be used as a hands-on manual to help caregivers understand the baby’s needs and how to meet them. In addition, it is a guide to specific drugs, their effects and what symptoms might be associated with each.  Also discussed is overall infant management, as well as techniques to aid in reading the signs and signals of the infant. It details the importance of the caregiver's role in regards to the success of each child’s long term outcome.

The information gathered for this video is from the hands on information experienced by caring for drug exposed newborns at the Pediatric Interim Care Center, The Newborn Nursery.
